OPPO is a China based smartphone brand that is known for creating affordable and durable smartphones. Despite being a good brand, OPPO isn’t very well known in the Western world- but maybe they should be after launching the A57.
OPPO has a range of affordable smartphones on the market, and the OPPO A57 is one of them. The phone is durable and stable, but also has a good camera for taking photos and a small number on the price tag.
The A57 was made specifically with selfies in mind. It has a 16-megapixel front facing camera and is slim and light, making it easy to hold in different positions to get the perfect selfie. In well-lit conditions, the phone takes clear pictures that have a lot of detail. In low light situations, however, the photos can appear grainy. Regardless of whether you want a selfie camera or not, the A57 is still a good phone for those of us on a budget.
The screen is curved and protected by Gorilla Glass 4, making it sturdy and resistant to breaking. It also contains a fingerprint scanner that can be used to lock and unlock files and apps that are stored on the smartphone. The back of the phone is textured, making it easy to grip and operate using only one hand.
The phone can connect to wi-fi, Bluetooth, and GPS, just the same as other phones on the market. It also has an SD card slot that you can use in addition to the memory that the phones itself allows, meaning you can keep as many pictures and cute cat videos on your phone as you want.
OPPO A57 is a Budget Smartphone for Selfie Enthusiasts
On the accessory side of the smartphone, there is a variety of cases that can be purchased to amp up the appearance of the phone. They have to be purchased from the manufacturer’s website or from Chinese retailers, though, as the A57 isn’t overly popular in the United States, United Kingdom, or Canada (typically good countries to buy smartphone accessories from).
There’s no doubt that the A57 is a great option for selfie lovers and those of us who are on a relatively small budget when it comes to smartphones. With the A57, we can take great photos during the day, but maybe should refrain from serious photo taking at night or on cloudy days, as there is a possibility for grainy photos.
If this doesn’t bother you, though, why not make the A57 your next smartphone?
